Kelvin Doe is a 15 year-old engineering whiz from Sierra Leone.
When MIT discovered him, he was living in utter poverty. This didn't stop him from building batteries, generators and transmitters out of the spare parts that he collected from the trash bins. Completely self-taught and on his own, he created a radio station where he broadcasts news and plays music to his people.
In Sierra Leone, they know him as DJ Focus.
Doe became the youngest person in history to be invited to the "Visiting Practitioner's Program" at MIT.
Scott Hamilton once said: "The only disability in life is a bad attitude."
Here's Kelvin proving it right.
